Meet the Pastor

Father Patrick Henehan was born in Bradford, Illinois on July 16, 1971 and ordained on May 23, 1998.  He first served as an Assistant Pastor at St. Vincent de Paul, Peoria until 2000 when he was named Pastor of St. Mary's in Utica and as chaplain of Marquette High School, Ottawa.  In 2003 he was named Pastor of St. Mary's in Downs, Illinois and chaplain of Central Catholic High School, Bloomington. One year later, while remaining chaplain of Central Catholic, he became pastor of St. Patrick's in Wapella, where he served for six years.  Father Henehan has led St. Jude Parish as Pastor since June 16, 2010.

Father Henehan's Friday masses are thoroughly enjoyed by St. Jude Catholic School students and parishioners, alike. An exceptional priest and passionate preacher of Jesus Christ, Father also teaches religion to several grade levels.

"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them; if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; If service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching,"
